I theorize that after everything is completed, everything on the extension is shut down/rebooted. With Karl having control over the site, there needs to be authentication by him that will bring the site back up again. Since he is currently away, we will get that error for every nascom site until he returns.

Also here are the transit details for
2013.
Transits of Objects through the LASCO/C3 field of view (FOV) in 2013The following list was compiled by Giuseppe Pappa All dates and magnitudes are approximate.
As you can see Mercury should transit
through c2 around 4 Nov and Saturn around 6 Nov.
