Hi Peter,
It's C/1999 K17 (SOHO-400). Archive report 27 May 1999
Peter Berrett
Hi I can't see any kreutz reported on 27 May 1999 so I hope this
archive report is successful. Two reports were made on 28th but I
found two kreutz on that date so this one may be extra. if it has
been reported please let me know and i will withdraw the claim.

Dear All,
I have read your discussion in these hours. The situation now is unusual, both Robert's and Michal's opinion are reasonable. I think maybe the rule can be specially considered under such a situation, but anyway, I hope we comet hunters can enjoy this project, like Alan just said, a "non competitive group". So just leave the decision of the two objects (Masanori&me and Michal&me) to Karl, and wish the Sungrazer website reopen soon. Best wishes, Zesheng Yang

Alan Watson
Gidday All, This reply via Gmail on my phone. So, the work flow as I understand it is, C2(2 positions min ,C3 3 positions min) get two or more positions with good confidence. Report via SunGrazer Web site and/or direct email to Dr sungrazer if the site is down or some interesting qualification needs to be stated. Alert the groups.io SunGrazer groups about your positions to assist with the view of tracking for further qualification. This site can be used for direct reporting if the main NRL site is unavailable. So, timing is important. Email to Karl takes first place on the timing. Then Web reports, and follow up email to Karl. Email to Karl then report to SunGrazer Groups.Io timing is fall back method for unavailable NRL sites. For Stereo or WISPR, an email to Karl and a report to the SunGrazer group.io with the report timing having Karl's email the prime decider. What is the Facebook group following sungrazer comets? I don't think that is a formal report place, but should be used to assist with qualification and education to the formal report method. SunGrazer group.io is fully funded for the next year. It can be used in the same way as Yahoo groups was in the past. It is a historical message repository. Peter and Robert have used it for their reports of missed comets. I hope that this help with the non competitive group efforts that happen with comet hunters 😁🤟👍👌. Kind regards Alan Watson.

Both are known objects. First was likely first reported by Worachate in C3, hours ago. The second was reported first by Worachate and also confirmed by yours truly as I was going to report it too.

Sure, but truth be told this simplification :D
Because, the first report via an e-mail was 3 mintues earlier if I'm not mistaken. That was a reasone, that I said, that I hope it will be co-discovery etc etc. (in normal situation if site is running, as you said 15sec > 3min). Will be fine. Best wishes, Michal
